BROCK VS COUTURE! It's happening in November!

I have no idea why Couture agreed for this fight as he has nothing to really gain by beating Brock, and everything to lose by Brock beating him.

And in December we get Mir vs Nogueira! Hopefully this leads to a Nogueira vs Couture fight.

Jesus Christ. I mean, I don't get this. If Brock loses, the UFC's just killed any and all momentum he'd started building. Why does Dana White refuse to build new stars? He just throws motherfuckers to the wolves and says fend, bitch.

I think it is a mix of what they're paying Brock compared to other fighters, plus Brock has said in interviews he's asked them to pair him up against the best right away.

I don't think it's a problem for Brock though. I mean if he loses to Couture, well he lost to Randy Couture, something even the top guys have done in the last few years. I don't think it'll make Brock look too bad to lose to Couture in his 3rd UFC fight.

What I will bitch about is the fact that this for for the heavyweight title. Kimbo I don't think is ready for main events yet, and I feel the same about Brock. Even worse in Brock's case because I don't see what he has done in order to earn a title shot against Couture, especially when there's already an automatic #1 contender in Nogueira, plus I'd think Mir ranks over Brock easily. This just throws how they determine #1 contenders right out the window, which is just stupid. Brock's last win wasn't impressive enough for even a fight to become #1 contender.
